It was not a free and fair election, and free and fair elections are not possible until Tigers are eradicated.
What do you expect TMVP to do? lay down the arms and

These elections are FARCE. Vote under gun pressure. Election of a paramilitary armed political group. This is not democracy, this is a rule against LTTE and NorthEast Tamils.
This must be self enough to declare a unilateral independence declaration. |

The important thing here is the conduction of the election. It is hard to conduct free and fair one even in Colombo. Minimizing violations can be done.
Now this election is an unforgettable flap specially for those who seek a separate home from overseas.

how about the TNA and uphill tamil parties carry AK47 even to the so called parliament?? they are also getting killed?? |

this is a rule against LTTE and NorthEast Tamils
there is no such thing called NorthEast. they are two seperate entities, the North and the East.
Next election is the provincial election in the East. Not NorthEast.
Eastern Tamils wanted to stay away from terrorits and the government took that opportunity to bring the democracy through an election after 14 years.
Elections for the North will be held soon. Don't rush...:) lol |
