All developped countries work because they share power at different levels (national, per state, per town, per village, per individual), in Sri Lanka its not the case. All power is in the hand of one man/community. Such a democrazy will never work, its why Tamils revolted and even took arms (i dont know if you realize what does it mean). Now the rebellion is rooted and cant be wiped out by killing all ltters.
Do you heard this proverb : When one headed monster die, a two headed monster born.
The only way is DEVOLUTION of power. Thats it. If you dont agree, what do you agree ??? |

very true but the constitution considers ONLY AND ONLY SINHALESE and they rule the minority , they force sinhala only , they force Buddhism as state religion , etc , some thing badly going wrong
that is still not true. I am not Buddhist and no one ever forced me to convert. I even lived near a temple we use to go and play , went to tuitions classes ect .
State religions and languages are their to identify the country. There is no way you can have a minority religion or a language as the main identity of the country.
The government or the Sinhala people of sri lanka are not forcing any other to be any thing else.?
Infact its more diverse than ever before. Wouldn t you agree?

Yes agreed by heart. Devolution power is not a division. But it should not be happened along the ethnic lines dividing people to the end.

BTW, on a different topic, you remember once I told you there was a good 'mystery' bowler that bamboozled all the batsmen in a domestic match?
Well, the fellow has been selected to the ODI Squad! Named Ajantha Mendis. Watch out for him. They say he is a Slow Right arm medium pacer, but believe me he bowls all kind of stuff.
Bit of a rough diamond though. Needs to be handled carefully.

If President has halted sending Maids overseas..what happens to Helpers who go to SL on vacation..will they be allowed to get back to where they live and work?
a lot of Helpers in Hong Kong are worried..
may be our Minister os Southern Affairs can find out for all of us.. |

Oh..he is the GUY!! I think including some new fresh blood in our Team is the best way to go about..will be watching him closely to see whether you understand spin bowling lolz..
