Ther is a hidden jobs for SLnavy... , they can blow up ship full of maids (sinhalese) trying to go to Arab ... and claim as LTTE Female cardets trying to escape from LTTE ..... lol

Let me ask you a few question..may be even Sansare can try to answer me..
1)How many House maids are in Middle East/Singapore/Hong Kong/Other places?
2)What is the percentage actually fall into this ill treated/no pay category?
3) How many Nurses they are trying to train?
4)What is the plan for the rest of the ladies?
5)How much a Nurse will be paid working in U.S? what is the saving capacity living in U.S?
6) How much a maid is paid and what is her saving capacity
Trust me..working as a nurse and paying for your own accommodation and meals, you save less than what a Helper makes..I am prepared to discuss this cos i know the Salaries of Nurses/Teachers hired in SL and working in U.S vs the SL helpers working in Hong Kong
so please protest against it..it is absolutely a stupid decision my Mahinda!!

If you want to train Nurses do it..send some more trained Nurses abroad but don't stop the others.

well , i am doing fine except some minor issues , sad to hear that kids were died to weather condition , we are having unexpected snow here , too much and taking days to clean , normally next day roads are clean from snow , but this time taking days and days , may be a week , first time after long time ( may be in 30 years , may be i am wrong here ) in Toronto , they had lot of it but still expecting more to come , not over yet , but this week looks snow free but you never know . take care . |

but fellow sinhalese prefer this option if they could see some winning over Tamils regardless number death occurring from Tamils or Sinhalese , a sick development .

Choice is important. I am pretty sure MR made this call before and then he was advised it was not a good idea. But training would be a good spicialy when it comes to choice of traning.

most of sinhala EXPATS live outside srilanka LOL. Of course expats live out of Sri Lanka, i wont say 'most' but 'all' :-))
I know there are lot of Sinhala expats in Italy, UK, ME, and USA as well. They flied the country for a better life, like Tamils, but they cant understand N-Eastern escaping Sri Lanka to build their own country :-(( |

Domestic helper job is not a job to shame.
Its an important working sector in rich world.
Best thing is for Maama to call them as 'Home Administrative Secretary' or 'Director of Domestic Health and Nutrition' or 'Co-ordinating Secretary for Carnal Affairs', instead of calling them house maids and that will 'uplift' their image and maama's image too(if there is one)!!
Some one must have called Maama as the 'Executive President of the Nanny Country' and this had upset him and hence his revolutionary reform.
