I think MR is relatively genuine, that is why 'WE TAMILS' don't like him unlike RW or CBK!
There you go..I was talking about this order..to halt the Maids going overseas and you have to connect it to 'We tamils' ranil/CBK etc..Sad Side of sri lankans..

but here in Aust, Sri Lankas are having a very good regard. There are SL teachers, but I have never see any Filipinos
well I was talking about Helpers and Nurses..not teachers..
if you take Hong kong..we have 150,000 Filipino Helpers to 5000 sri lankan Helpers..
Ur correct when it comes to teaching cos Filipinos do not pronounce the way SL do when they Talk english..so teaching is a pblem for Filipinos..

This is the fundamental failure in CFA. The Govt Demilitarized it self, while LTTE Militarized it self to be the most sophisticated terror group in the World! The imbalance was staggering.
Correct. Later I think, after Kosovo, the risk of CFA showed a new frontier.

friend of mine who is studying( final year, mgt accounting special degree ) @ jaffna uni( vavuniya campus)
is asking me to find a job for him
with the current situation in the country i dont think i'll be able to help him out ( because he is a Tamil& from northern part of the country)
can you help?

May I ask you, why are Tamils so scared of Sinhala-Buddhist identity?
Buddhism and Hinduism coexisted in Sri Lanka for thousands of years. This is why, one sees Hindu symbols in Buddhist viharas.
The Tamils are not scared of the Sinhala Buddhist identity, far from it. But they recognise that, it has been the catalyst for all failures in reconciliation among the various communities.
You see that, the Tamil uprising has masked many defects of Sri Lanka. For example, even recently, I saw news that the Christians are being harassed by Buddhist elements. The belief that, Sri Lanka is only for Sinhala Buddhist and being reflected in the constitution has dangerous consequences. It has also been the hindrance for peace building. Moreover, building a Sri Lankan identity has been obscured
Hence, this is an issue for Tamils!

Ask him to try some audit firms in Colombo. They wont pay much. But if he works there for one year there are good opos. I know people in H Martins.
