VP's use is now coming to a end, step by step. He has good qualities to organize, but he is ruthless man.
A better person must come from LTTE for Tamils.
They must have,..but just hiding to the fear of VP.
But, pressure is mounting. |

The reason is that it costs much more than the benefits that the country gains, not economically but socially and in term of human welfare! The number of young citizens that go stray and become useless because their homes go shattered due to absence of their mothers is large but all this time it was given a blind eye, just for selfish reasons, just for the bucks that they bring in! Real welfare of a country and its people cannot be achieved only through having a lot of money, they should also have other humane requirements, like a loving and caring environment for the children to grow up!
I bet that you will never ever want to send your wife away even if you are a pauper! Of course there are enough families in SL who put up with poverty for the sake of children!
There are some analyses to the effect that women go aborad as housemaids more than for finanacial reasons, as a method to escape from their drunkard husbands! Shocking isn't it? |

CFA had it's + & -,
I think we manged to capture east becuse of CFA. If CBK allowed RW to continue for sometime, we would have, had a another Karuna from the north and could have chased the LTTE with the help of Tamils.
Winning the WAR without winning tamils hearts is more dangerous than LTTE.

Listen to what Sansare say.
If there was a better intellectually-abled person to negotiate for Tamils, this case would have been solved long time back....if not, at least during Ranils time during CFA.
Go to Stopterror's page. Velu has extreme mood swings, which is indicative of Bipolar disorder. He's not medically sound.
Can't negotiate with a Mad man. LTTE minions yes..they are much more sane than Velu. Velu has a medical problem more than anything else. You guys are paying the price for his medical problems.

You are damn right, it is known for sometime that LTTE is employing Tamil women with worlds oldest business skills in Anuradhapura for military purposes, even for the air base attack! |

We are fooling our selves if we think Velu is genuine on peace talks.
Is GOSL genuine in peace talks? Is it genuine on the extent of power devolution? Why GOSL backtracking on setting up 17th amendment that is to restructure constitution?
Why worry about LTTE when there is so much GOSL can do to make LTTE irrelevant to the equation?
Why sacrifice so many village boys when there are opportunities to build a Sri Lankan identity?
Do you believe that MR is promoting Sri LAnkaness or elevating the Sinhala Buddhist?

This is exactly the problem with you guys. Complete misreading of the situation.
Velu is a determined man, your guys are used to buying Tamil politicians, so they cant handle someone 100% dedicated to Tamil cause!
Velu could be a mad man for the sinhala point of view, not for the tamil point of view!!
More your politicians continue to misread situation longer it will take to solve problems!! |
