Democracy is being reduced to a mere sham in Sri Lanka. Gun totting terrorists and thugs contest elections, get elected by the power of the bullet rather than the ballot and claim they have been democratically elected and legitimately continue with the terror tactics after the elections using democracy as a shield.

Some people and the media says GUN - carrying party won.

But, think about the what other short way we have to democracy we have there.

It is a STEP - BY - STEP process.

Though they carried guns, they promised to come to democratic path.

People will reject guns, so that, next election will be better.
