Sinhalese didn't care while there northern brothers (if they ever treated them so) were being slaughtered by their army..! They kept electing governments that would target innocent Tamils..! This was the prime reason why the war spreaded to the entire island..! |

Murder is Murder. Who care if VP had enough or not ? This is why I fail to see the difference between MR and VP.. All the killing for protecting what ?? It surely does not look like the people of sri lanka they are trying to protect ??

i never justify civilian killing of any race, only showing the reason why LTTE's respect for human rights has dropped after 1985, something that most people from the South are unaware of

I don't think this is right. I don't think VP knew until after the fact. Late Victor or Mannar was reprimanded for this. I could be wrong but thats what I heard at that time.

Some DID. Then there was a CFA. Then some others #$@ed it up..
For me.. I don't care if Satan got elected in the east as long as no one gets slaughtered raped and humiliated.

Although it's not a perfect world, I-8217 m pleased to see that these elections took place with a minimum of problems.
What the people want is a certain degree of normalcy and being able to see a future after all these years of atrocity .. and they really deserve it.
