The beautiful thing about this vote is that it seals the TT fate in the east.

never again.

this is the symbolic notion of this vote.

the TT can only have a cheap presence in east, but they will never control it again.

Head Quarters
Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam
Tamil Eelam
10 March 2008

Is the Indian State attempting yet another historic blunder?
The State welcome given by the Indian State to the Head of the Sri Lanka military chief Lt. Col. Sarath Fonseka, who is heading the Sri Lankan State s war of ethnic genocide against the Eelam Tamils, has deeply hurt them.

...

The tigers apparently had let them run with the elections unhindered

I think LTTE is playing it smart. Right now IC and media is on GOSL's case and LTTE is not going to do anything that would minimize that heat. This is the same reason I think Walla bomb was not the work of LTTE.

Like the Nugegoda, fort and railway station bomb this is a inside job.

I don't think VP is in any mood to work with TMVP but there is a good chance part of the old group could rejoin. LTTE's problem was with Karuna, his brother and a few key players and most of them are six feet under.

Look, VP is the most influential person in the region today. VP can negotiate peace with Pillaiyan and make Pillaiyan peacefully merge East to Vanni... killing Pillaiyan may not do any good to VP. But, it is possible Pillaiyan himself will realise and align with VP.

LTTE is helpless and they fully deserved that.

Wishful thinking.

Once you give up arms and enter the democratic process then that is it. No return back. This happened to many former JVP & LTTE militants.

You need to change.
