The ballot boxes were stuffed before they reached the booth. And these figures are from the ballots in boxes. No one is giving the proportion of votes cast. If this figure is cast they you got to remove 70% for stuff ballots to know how many real votes.

So GOSL are having a honeymoon with TMVP and trying to win minds of some Batticaloa Tamils

lets see what happens

if all Tamils agree with GOSL, then it is a dream come true

then Sri Lanka and India can become part of the British Empire again

then British can submit themselves to the Nazis

what a fairytale :)

By Kelum Bandara in Batticaloa

The historic Batticaloa local government election which ended peacefully yesterday with a 56 percent voter turnout was marred by allegations of vote rigging

So the real voter turnout was somewhere between 17-20% the rest was rigged votes.

Don't you think: thanks to VP Tamils are in a win,win situation.

From the time of independence N/E were the least invested area's by the govt. now even if they want to hold the area with bogus elections they will have to invest in this area more than other parts of the country.

This looks like Quebec in Canada. Not a bad deal economically although they will not have any honest loyalty to the government or constitution.

LTTE tell India..

The Indian State must take the responsibility for the ethnic genocide of the Tamils that will be carried out by the Sinhala military, re-invigorated by such moves of the Indian State

It should look like Quebec. Who gives a Rat's ass about GoSL or it's fly-by night constitution ? Spend the money that goes to kill people right now to build-up their lives.
It is a WIN-WIN for Sri Lanka. If this is a Win for VP like you suggest, so be it.
