The SLn politics is the headache for this situation in this country. As long as this menace peeping into administration the country will remain/ go down.
All uneducated thieves are governing the country. Can anyone expect something productive and lucrative?
This is the major problem in SRi Lanka.
JVP got thousands of youths killed and now they are part of the system.
they don't want to change the system from within, now they are part of it and just need power. |

Ill thought out ventures result in failures. CBK's war for peace led to disastrous effects, 1,300, poor soldiers were killed in one day in Mullaitivu. 8 years of her rule resulted in the destruction of the country and her humiliation. Her legacy lives on to haunt her. Her appointment in UN was canceled and she was unceremoniously sacked. People were pushed into poverty with the destruction of infra structure and faltering morale of the security forces.
How long can the Security Forces keep on fighting with heavy casualties as seen last month for capturing a few meters of Tamil lands? Can the SF hold on to those areas? What will happen when LTTE retaliate? History has repeated many times, but, no lessons were learned by the leaders.

Lion, AnuD, Kotia,
being critical with MR's airline traffic does not mean that i am not against militant LTTE activists.
But a government that can not even run 3 Mihin air busses should better not be expected to run Sri Lankan Airlines.
In particular after mastermind Emirates will pull out and taking any decent staff with them. Not to mention Emirates promotional efforts and financial support that had been covering their vast war related losses.

FREEDOM1:
SRi Lanka is capable of of running Sri Lankan Air lines successfully, if GOSL let it run by a capable business man without political interference.
Politicians won't allow that.
IF MahindaR Won't do that, no one else can do that.
MahindaR should make arrangements to run it as a business without any political interfearance.

Mahinda Mama is running out of cash, inflation is sky high and warfare equipment is expensive.
MR has more people, VP more cash thanks to well organized Diaspora exploitation by LTTE mobsters.
It looks like a war without winners. |

AnuD,

Mihin Lanka could not even get online booking up and running, they could not even find Sri Lankans to do the cabin services and they have massive debts all around.
Foreign investors are widely discouraged by your President's personal approach to SLA's ceo and SLA has generated $30 million losses over the past 10 years.
Tourism has hit rock bottom, all SLA staff will go to Emirates.
Where do you see a future for them ?
