As always, It is an absolute delight to listen to what you say.
Thank you Gons and I should add that it's equially, if not more delightful to chat with you, rather than those who would cheer for the fall of Parappankandal Cosmopolitan City out of ignorance..! :):):)
In your opinion, Where are we headed now ? If this war was unavoidable with either MR or with RW, then which scenario would have reduced the civilian casualties ?
We are now heading towards separation sooner or later, unless a miracle happens..! MR administration dances to the tune of LTTE.
Initially, the LTTE wanted to internationalize the problem by forcing the govt to CFA. But RW played it to his advantage later to enchain the LTTE. LTTE did have it's benefits in terms of strengthening itself and what not, but they couldn't get out of the shackle, monitored by IC. Then came MR who did everything possible to get the LTTE off the hook..! What's more, he has even earned a poor image for Sri Lanka unparalleled by any previous govt. This weeks HRW report is a classic example.
Like I said before, this war could have been avoided, if the king makers (southern masses) played their card right..! But, they have this habit of gobbling up false propaganda easily and getting hoodwinked in the process. Unless they have a clear view on the minorities and the vision to dethrone any govt that misbehaves, no president will bring this horror to a halt..!
