In fact Sinlayas are more Tamil than some of the Tamils in Tamil Nadu... but their proud Mahawansam would not allow accepting the truth!

Do you have any idea about what you write..?
Did British tell as to bar MONKS from politics..?
The basic meaning of the democracy will die if GOSL stops any priest (Buddhist, Catholic, Hindu, or Muslim) entering in to national politics.
MONKS came to politics to fill the space made by Ranil in extremist Sinhala sections. I dont agree with that attitude, but you cant stop them active in politics, if we talk about DEMOCRACY..! |

that is why All the Sri Lankan Tamils should get Sinhala names and start reading MAHAVAMSA as their history. |

YES, MAgnum, why don't you name some MILA BAsina Rajyas.
That is possible only when there is a deflation of economy. That happens now in economically developed countries such as JAPAN, USA etc., because of economic turmoil.
After an economic recession deflation occurs and some prices go down. mostly those of big commodities.

I am not talking about monks contesting elections. That I agree is democracy. But, making Buddhism state religion and hurting the feelings of other religious groups is anti democratic and outright destrictive. |
