Tigers blame army for civilian deaths
keep blaming and asking for justice wont produce any results from SINHALAAS , the answer is best known medicine that works well among sinhala racist , at this rate sinhalase killing innocent tamils civilians , we tamisl will be zero very soon , hope the ratio is maintained in all aspects and projects . |

Not only Most Sinhalese but most of the people stay away from politics due to high degree of hypocrisy involved with it. According to your theory Pharoah,up country Tamils should be happy under Sri Lankan government as they are not contributing to this forum. Are they happy? Fantastic! They are the most suppressed living in Sri Lanka. They are the socalled law cast people.
Your comments show how narrow you people think. This is nothing but typical sectarian racist mentality. Up country Tamils, Baticaloa Tamils, Jafna Tamils, Sinhalese, Muslims, Tamil speeking people etc.etc. Until you people change your mentality and start thinking we all are human beings this type of racist wars will continue bringing tremendous destruction to man kind.

Two people were killed and seven other injured following a suicide blast in a house at Modera a short while ago. Police say the blast occured while a corden and search operation was being conducted in the area.

This is nothing but typical sectarian racist mentality. Up country Tamils, Baticaloa Tamils, Jafna Tamils, Sinhalese, Muslims, Tamil speeking people etc.etc
Ur spot on...It does exist among Tamils but not to the extend like in the 50/60/70's
I suppose (Correct me if i am wrong) that was also there among the sinhalese..eg:- Kandyan/South. I have heard a kandyan Sinhalese telling me that the way Sinhalese is spoken by the southerners is very different to kandyans.

It is widely believed that both the Sinhalas and the Tamils came to Sri Lanka from India and have been living ever since as Sinhalas and Tamils. As such the general impression among most of the people is that the Veddas are the indigenous people of the country and the Sinhalas and the Tamils are migrants. This notion also adds on to the myth that Sinhalas and the Tamils have the same status culturally and historically in Sri Lanka.
