Safe haven for Prabhakaran proposed for some time: Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka has said a proposal for providing a safe haven for elusive LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran has been there `for sometime` but felt he would be apprehended by India the moment he leaves the island country.
`Yes, that is his problem. If he (Prabhakaran) leaves Killinochchi, then India will get him for sure,` Sri Lankan Foreign Secretary Palitha Kohona told online `Asian Tribune`.
The top Sri Lankan diplomat was asked whether the LTTE supremo was in danger of being apprehended by India if he leaves Sri Lanka. Kohona said it will be difficult for Prabhakaran to get past India.
`It will be difficult. You know that an Indian court wants him. India is a very legalistic country. You know that they regularly send us notes for Prabhakaran`s extradition. And keep on reminding us to extradite Prabhakaran, as he is a proclaimed offender in the Rajiv Gandhi murder case,` he said.
When asked whether peacebroker Norway is making arrangements to provide safe haven to the Tiger leader, Kohona said `That is a good idea, no?
`It is a solution that has been proposed for sometime, The Idi Amin Solution,` the official without elaborating.
Idi Amin, who seized power in Uganda in January 1971 in a military coup, fled to Libya in 1979 after the Uganda-Tanzania war. He relocated himself in Saudi Arabia in 1981 where he died in 2003.
In reply to a query, the Sri Lankan official said his country was working towards getting Australia to ban the LTTE.
`We are working on it. In fact, I was there (in Australia) in January and I worked very hard on that subject.`
Colombo dumped a tattered 2002 ceasefire with the LTTE late last month.

LOL LOL - good one tigy! That is just like saying there is PUNNAKKU without MR! :) :)
On a serious note - If and When VP is killed or dies of Natural Causes the LTTE will fall like a pack of cards. However, as long as you have raciest Brainless SWINES like MR there will more VPs to come from within the Tamil community. But at least for a short time - IF and When VP is gone there will be peace in SL.

The petty criminal Prabhakaran is safe no where in the world.
If he steps out of his jungle prison India will kill him or he will be arrested by the international community.
There is no safety for a murderer like that except among other murderers in his jungle prison. Even then this criminal has to watch out for Tamils ready to kill him. That's why he must be surrounded by so many bodyguards even in his ever shrinking paradise. |

No safe Haven for Rajapakses, not even US they will get them for HR violations!!
