Health Minister and government s Chief Peace Negotiator Nimal Siripala De Silva, has ruled out the possibility of holding any more talks with the LTTE even as a series of explosions killed more than 50 people in the span of just three days.
Even the GMOA is not prepared to speak to this fool and in fact GMOA wants him ousted immediately from his portfolio!
What to do, he has to say what others want him to say and otherwise his family will go hungry?

It was the political egoism of both Singhala and Tamil politicians who divided the community in terms of nationality . What we need to do is forget about it and allow every body to have equal opportunity and live with dignity and peacefully.
For a change a contructive and a productive statement! If this was realised earlier none of these tragedies would have oocurred! |

I'm not talking about AIT. It's about this race hatred in this forum. I'm claiming, that South Asia has it's own race, the dravidian race, whereas others said priorly, they were of aryan race, which means a snow-white caucasian, which doesn't match to the Sinhalese in any case. People here don't distinct between language and race. So Bengalis are also of dravidian race, they are said to be the ancestors of Sinhalese.. so, there is no racial division in Tamils and Sinhalese.. It annoys me everytime, when i see this dumb crap.

That is what we are supposed to do today since firstly we can not turn back the clock, and secondly we do not belong to the same generation of people and politicians who made the mockery, but what is happening today unfortunately is people continue to fight on those past blunders eternally, forgetting the dialectical process of development of the Sri Lankan society. In this forum nothing more than a racist verbatim happens.
Numerous times in this forum I have mentioned that it is a 19th century philosophy that caused the problems and it is the same old philosophy which is being promoted and carried out by those who are fighting a war with each other. |

The bottom line is it is absolutely ridiculous for Tamils and Singhalese to debate whether it is Tamils or Singhalese who own this country or what part of the country. This country belongs to every body.

Yep we failed miserably. The actual situation is really critical. Ethnic nationalism rised up unfortunately, as the effect of this duty war and ethnic tunneled visions.
Everyone should accept that war is not a solution, it brings in fact, more extremism and hatred. The best thing is GOSL and LTTE shake hands and plan the future for this island development. I'm feared that it will not happen until SLA or LTTE are defeated. |

In SL democrazy he is courages enough NOT to produce his own demo-cratic statement!
You saw the all party consultative committee and what poor Tissa Vitharne has to come out with? He has to hide his version and then put out MR's version as his!
That is SL democrazy.

I think and it is obvious, that there are no pure race today. There are no pure Dravidian or pur 'Aryans', or pure Mongoloids. Our lighter colour if ther is any comes from either Semitic stock or Mongolid stock. We cannot have any 'Aryan' mix in us. What I mean is what we in Asia call Aryan is not what Hitler called Aryans. Hitler made mistake calling themselves Aryans whereas they are actually Vikings or Anglo-Saxons. I think it Semitics or Persians who were in the past called Aryans. This misnomer had caused lot of problem. It is impossible to believe Buddha called his teaching Aryan doctrine, if he meant this savegry viking.
All that apart, there are lot of eveidence people in our region to be Indo_Aryanns. I think leaving the misnaming out, that is people are Dravidian-Mongolids mix.

You are correct, my point was that there is no such a division. I know that you didnt talk about AIT , i referred to it as being a part of the historical facts twisting by the european colonialists.

Just remain that, genetically and biologically speaking we ALL are different. Only true twins have same DNA.
In this matter we can all recognize ourself as being an unique race.

But when you are interacting with someone who is driven by group power and that group power is based on race - which side do you take Magha? As per my observations, you take the side of your race and rightly so.

If I do take the side of a race that I am belong to, then why should I also take the side of the Tamils who are being harmed by Tamils? Furthermore I have spoken in my postings my detest about the Singhala government discrimination of Tamils in various aspects .
Racist is a person who believes that one's own race is superior to others. In that aspect you have shown to be a racist in many of your postings. I do not believe that there is a Singhala race but a Singhala nationality which has its roots of thousands of years.
I do criticize Tamil racism which had shown in the modern history of Sri Lanka that we Sri Lankans are different from each other, hence needs power sharing according to the ethnicity but not according to the needs of the people, that other nationalities should not come to Tamil areas to live as those are only for Tamils with their Tamil historical home land theory, and also their racist claims that they are intellectually superior to any other ethnicity in the country disregarding the unequal opportunity the people of this country had in western type of education for 400 years of European colonialism. |
