The death toll in the Fort Railway station has risen to 9 with some more in critical condition.

If I gave the impression in my previous post that only places like Buttala and Dambulla will be targetted, the attack in Colombo, Fort is a clear message from the LTTE that no where in the South is safe. The fear psychosis is sure to set in soon in the South if it has not already set in. Of course, those war mongers outside SL won't have a clue as to what it is really like.

So, war mongers, you are going to get what you badly want. You have no idea what it is to lose a family member or a friend in such a brutal manner, nor do you have to live with a maimed family member or friend. But we over here know it, feel it and have to live with it. We also have to put up with high cost of living, searches, disruptions on the road, anxieties over family members and friends not returning home at the usual time. You have no idea what that means. All you want is blood and more blood. To hell with you all draculas.

if i lost a loved one id want to know their killers were put through the blender and made into catfood. in fact if someone killed my parents or sister i would probably think about exacting some kind of vengence myself. so, to all those people who have lost a loved one...dont just weep, get even. END this war with a bullet to their temple. dont let these animals rise up time and time again! we sinhalese are all talk, but in the end no one wants to do any killing. and if you dont want to fight, for heavensake let the fighters do their job!

'Why not tamils now think of having their home land in England or Norway. Perhaps Toronto may be a better option.

Fighters need four to five months to do the job, if they can finish the job that is. Meantime, innocent Sinhalese are getting killed and maimed by the dozens daily. Today, in the Fort attack alone, eleven innocent lives were lost with over a 100 wounded. At 8.00pm, the area I live in Colombo is normally quite active. But today, it is all deserted with most shops, including the tea boutiques, closed. It can only get worse with every subsequent attack, and there sure will be many more attacks to come if this mad war continues.

It is NOT the war mongers who pay the price for this futile war but ordinary people. The war which was and is essentially fought in the North and East is also now being fought in the South. The ordinary Tamils and Muslims paid the major price all these years and now, the Sinhalese are also going to do so.

The sooner the war mongers realise this, the better it will be for the Sinhalese and the country. If not, I shudder to think what the consequences will be.

Hey Mr.Punnakku,

They could not get a trace of TAFs, despite multiple sorties all over the Southern skies and impounding many targets

Then what has happened to those tin can air crafts. may be VP has sold them as old iron to near by factory to get some financial aid to buy some bullets

BAGHDAD - The U.S. military said Monday that it accidentally killed nine Iraqi civilians during an operation targeting al-Qaida in Iraq south of Baghdad.

The civilians were killed Saturday near Iskandariyah, 30 miles south of the Iraqi capital, U.S. Navy Lt. Patrick Evans told The Associated Press. Three more civilians were wounded and taken to U.S. military hospitals nearby, he said
