Govt must ensure that these civilians are well cared, so that the rest will also follow suit.
Yes and please think about the ltte cadres who are force-recruited. They are living breathing human beings like us. They too deserve a right to live, though they fight now for a short sighted vision of an inept leader. The 'Kill Them All' policy adopted by the GOSL is unacceptable. |

Deiyyo Saakki....
I always wanted that loafer Boggles kicked out, but NOT replaced with a Greater Idiot like Fernandofoolle.
This could be disaster!
Minister of Road Development, Jeyraj Fernandopulle has been appointed as acting minister of Foreign Affairs in the absence of Minister Rohitha Bogollagama who s away from the country. However Minister Bogollagama is due to return to the country tomorrow. Analysts predict a major overhaul in the Foreign Affairs ministry on his return to the county.

Bad News, Peelamists.
In a telephone conversation with Foreign Secretary Palitha Kohona Japan s special peace envoy Yasushi Akashi has said that Japan has no intention of slashing aid to Sri Lanka. What appeared in Japanese media is a misrepresentation of what he told the press, Akashi has said.

That is Palitha Kohona saying that Yasushi Akashi said that. Whom do you believe? Kohona or Akashi?
