Entry to PARANTHAN enables the troops to encircle KILINOCHCHI from three directions, north, west and south, giving further enormous pressure on Tiger terrorists.

The Task Force-I troops have commence further expansion in order to capture rest of the PARANTHAN township.

Paranthan North South East West all taken and defences estabablished.SLA beleievs Velavan who led the campaign in Paranthan may be dead or injured...:-)

SLA has moved and blocked the road north of paranthan /ltte counter attack on town not captured yet
