Nadesan said the rebels had not abandoned hopes for new peace talks.
'We have always been ready for peace talks, but the Sri Lankan government has been always insisting on a military solution,' he said.
what a joke... I wonder who broke almost all ceasefires by stepping up hostilities.. if LTTE think they can walk out of peace talks and walk in anytime they wish too they are barking up the wrong tree.. too bad the GOSL has given them an option.. if they cant abide by it then face the military onslaught ... no point Nadesan coming here and talking about peace talks if he cant listen too and abide by GOSL demands.. |
