As a Sri Lankan, I claim the north and east (and the rest of the country) as my homeland. Happy?

We Tamils don't recognize the word Sri Lankan. We don't even use the word Sri Lanka to refer this Island in Tamil. Actually we hate the word Sri Lanka, and the Sinhalese unanimously change the name without the consent of Tamils. Therefore, we don t care about it. Sri Lanka is the word borrowed from Sanskrit to refer this island by the Sinhalese. Your Sri Lanka got nothing to do with our Tamil Eelam.

Neenka vEru naadaiya naanka veru Nadu, niraiya vErupadaiya, niraiya vErupaadu.

what in the world is going on with Australia . I looked at cricinfo today and realized they have been beaten at home .


Australia's bowling attack is one of the weakest in world cricket..They lost the home series for the 1st time after 17 years..added to the bowling worries they have Hayden and Hussey failing, Symonds & Lee carrying injuries, Watson is out for 6 months (lee will undergo an operation for a stress fracture after this test match)

Surely Australia is on the decline..

you cant have claim on tamil people's homeland:)))


My friend thala. You cannot tell another person what are the boundaries of what they see as their homeland.

I claim the whole of Sri Lanka as my homeland. That is my right as a freethinking human being.

You also have the right to claim the north and east as your homeland. That is your preogative.

Have to go now as I am ignoring someone here :o)

still not successful.

now you guys have come to stage where you had to depend on child soldiers. that is clear indication of imminent debacles in the war. the fact that a numerically majority community is using child soldier is shame and sign of defeat
