Yes, it is true Tamil and Sinhala civilians have died in this war. Except, there is one small problem. Why is that your 'Sri Lankan military' never used tanks, air raids, artillery and rocket fire to put down JVP insurrections staged by Sinhala militants? From Vakarai in the east of your Sri Lanka to Kilinochi in the north of your Sri Lanka, your 'Sri Lankan military' has been leveling the Tamil villages and towns. I don't see any Tamil general in the deployment of over 100,000 Sinhala army men and boys in the war, supposedly just against the LTTE.
well I dot have the exact figures but during the time of EP assault there was a Tamil Major defected our army defending EP by giving valuable info for the LTTE artillery and mortar.. but there was someone in this forum who gave us some info about the number of Muslim soldiers in the SLDF you definitely cant call it a sinhala army ..but again lot of Tamil leaders were killed by Praba but.. we didn t need to use tanks or anything on JVP due to the fact that they had a less military strength than the LTTE..
you might want to take a look at this site.. but it is quite in the history not of present.. but at the moment I don t have any actual figures of Tamil s or Muslims in the SLDF but we do know there are quite a large number.

so what you are saying is that the average Tamil cannot be trusted, and will double cross and betray his own people (Sri Lanka) at a drop of a hat.
And these morons ask why there aren't many Tamils in the Army...
Simple reason.... One cannot trust them! Only dead Tamils are trust worthy. A friend of mine from SLA said that sometimes even the wounded tigers pretend to be helpless and when they try to help them they pull pins off grenades... so now they won't bother... they just finish them off. |
