For Mahinda, it doesn't matter how many sons of other familes he needs to sacrifice to satisfy his ego. Until the Sinhala people realize what is goign on and rise against this tyrant he will continue to sacrifice Sinhala youth in the pursuit of his aims.
December may be the turning point in this latest misadventure by the GOSL. Too bad so many must die for the satisfaction of so few.

You can't put all the blame on Mahinda. All the Sinhala people who have taken advantage of discrimination against Tamils since 1956 must share the responsibility. It is the Sinhala 'petite bourgeoisie' (lower middle class) who have benefited from this discrimination. They have got the vast majority of government jobs which were denied to Tamil-speaking people. The present war is a result of that discrimination.

How many Tamil deaths are needed for your Eelam? how many homeless Tamils are required for Eelam? How many refugees needed for Eelam?
If your answer is as many as it takes... then my answer is as many as it takes from our side to keep SL in one piece.
We have sacrificed far more greater things to keep this country in one piece for all her people. So few thousands deaths of an ALL VOLUNTEER armed force is not a big price to pay.
But my question to you, how many more Tamils are you prepared to thrown in to the meat grinder? Knowing that there are not many who want to do willingly... |
