This is a pure terrorism, going against civilian settlement for the revenge of heavy beating received from LTTE?
the same target would have been now declared in defence propagandas as one of top LTTE base with few top leaders were present at the time of the hit :(

Sri Lanka Navy destroyed a medium-size LTTE logistics vessel carrying a large quantity of war like materials seventy (70) Nautical Miles North-east of Mullaithivu during the early hours today (20th December 2008). The Navy also intercepted a cluster of LTTE boats and destroyed four enemy attack craft, which were abortively attempting to support the enemy logistics vessel, in a separate confrontation off Mullaithivu. |

What a load of rubbish. Is anybody expected to believe this report by Tamilnet?
Are we all idiots?
I think the SLAF should carpet bomb all Tiger Area's in the LTTE controlled spaces after giving civilians twenty-four hours notice to leave by a leaflet drop. Then we will see who the real terrorists are if the LTTE stops civilians from leaving.
Go SLAF bomb them to hell (which is too good for the Tigers anyway)

| Actually when did Tamil net become a legitimate news wire? I think the editor should think for a minute. Will the US ever publicize news wires of terrorists! |

sinhala war mongers will rely always on the successful in killing TC to say all other air attacks is on ltte target.
it is almost one yr SLAF could not repeat that success instead attacking civilians and refugee settlements |

Article below is from The Hindu, today.
Spirit of Christmas (LTTE style) foiled, thank god.
100 bus passengers saved as soldier nabs bomber
Colombo (PTI): Over 100 passengers travelling in a bus in Sri Lanka had a narrow escape when a suspected LTTE bomber was nabbed while trying to plant a briefcase full of explosives in the crowded vehicle.
The bomb was detected by an Army Sergeant on board the bus. His timely action saved the lives of nearly 100 innocent passengers last evening, army officials said here on Saturday. The bus was plying between Maharagama and North-western Kurunegala area, they said.
The armyman in the bus, who noticed the suspicious movement of a well-dressed 'gentleman' carrying a brand new briefcase, tried to get the luggage away from him and that led to the uncovering of the explosives. The army officials said the briefcase contained explosives and detonator which was to be exploded at any given moment, it said.
The passengers then overpowered the bomber and handed him over to Padukka Police station. 'Had that not been the presence of mind of the Army Sergeant, many precious lives of the passengers would have been blown to pieces once the bomber receives the signal,' the army said in a statement.
