The supreme court is the final resort to any one who seeks justice. There is no bar to the supreme court adjudicating on unjustifiable price structuring if anyone takes the matter to the supreme court.

As per your comment that the SC has over stepped it's jurisdiction, could you kindly specify what provision of the Constitution or other legislative provision the SC has breached and acted ultra-vires?

I think the CJ is acting very wisely and logically. Soon he may order the Sinhala army to withdraw from N&E to save lives from both sides. He knows that Maama is killing the sinhalayas for his own glory and to be in power.
If war ends he will be exposed of his plundering of public money.So war has to go on with Kilinochi always at a kissing distance!! |

| Yes, all most every country in the world have reduced the price of petrrol and diesel as world oil prices have come down to 443 a barrel. In US a gallon of petrol is sold at $ 2.15 yesterday. This means a litre is about SL Rs.56. Why CPC can't reduce the price. Thie officials are corrupted and poor sri lankans have to maintain a jumbo cabinet. |
