may be you havent heard about the LTTE killing the Poosari of Vakarai Kovil who was killed the next day after he blessed the president
There was war in place & it must be the provocative act of Poosari who garlanded & welcomed the War hungry President that must have got some people to be upset...
Why dont you do the same propaganda when there is Peace ?

these caste issues will be lesser important as the time goes if we had the correct education system!
That I do agree with you somewhat.. Education as in Learning is not enough though. Social revolution is what you need. It is very difficult as seen in India as an example, because over time, higher caste people (no matter how educated they are) tend to stick to the practice to remain the elitists of the society. Only strong constitutional and judicial changes and transparency will bring changes. Otherwise you will be just white washing the issue that is embedded deep. |

Yes that was a punishment. I heard the same man was killed in 1997. I dont know why?
