I can remeber in late eigties EPRLF brought a vellar man and put him in a low caste tamil house and direcetd him to use their cloths, eat their food sleep in their home for thee days,

while we are fighting to free our self from the sinhala tyranny, disturbing the social fabrics will weaken the cause. one cannot change the century old practice over night.

these caste issues will be lesser important as the time goes if we had the correct education system!

who rejected EPRLF and who slected LTTE.

majority of eelam tamil

Pathmanab was killed by VP brutally.

if vp did not act first vp would have been killed by pathmanaba.

EPRLF never had support of vellar dominated media. EPRl simply didnt bring tamil nationalsim But it came with a nationalism blended with left idea. Their stand against catse was based on social justice,,about which the arogant killer VP has no clue.

majority of people hated EPRLF for attrocities commited on tamil people with IPKF. The same thing EPDP is doing

Successive air strikes rattle LTTE Wanni defences: Retreating sea tigers suffer heavy casualties
Sri Lankan Air force fighter jets made 7 successive air strikes targeting LTTE defences and strategic locations in Wanni, since early this morning (Dec 20), as military sources confirmed heavy damages to terrorists. Heavy payloads were dropped with precision at identified LTTE positions, Air force sources said adding that the sorties were launched in support of Navy and the advancing Task Force -1 and 57 Division troops at the Wa-8203 nni battlefront.

SLAF MIG and K'Fir jets roared in the Eastern Mullaittivu skies since 4.30a.m., as close-combat air strikes were taken at sea tigers who were fleeing for shelter after withdrawing from a pre-dawn major sea battle with Navy off Mullaittivu today. An LTTE arms carrying vessel and 4 attack craft were reported destroyed in the sea confrontation with Navy this morning.

Another air strike was launched at terrorists, 3km North of the Mullaittivu lagoon at around 5.30a.m., Air force Spokesperson Wing Commander Janaka Nananyakkara said.

Meanwhile, the Air force strikers made more decisive bombings at terrorist strongpoints located East of Iranamadu junction at 7.20a.m., and 7.50a.m., respectively. At 8a.m., the jets raided another LTTE bunker line located west of Parantan supporting the surging TF-1 infantry battalions.

Later, the Air force jets made two successive air sorties, West and Southwest of Kilinochchi at around 2.30p.m, the Spokesperson further said.

Bus Bomber thwarted

The timely detection of a bomb with its detonator by an Army Sergeant in a Kurunegala bound state bus saved the lives of nearly 100 innocent passengers yesterday, including Army personnel.
The fully loaded passenger bus, started off from Maharagama and had picked up many passengers on its way just after the Army cantonment in Panagoda.
An alert Army Sergeant on the bus became suspicious of the movements of a well-dressed gentleman towards the rear part of the bus with a brand new brief case in hand, who then suddenly gripped the case tightly with his hands and tried to get the brief case away, but it tore off uncovering the bomb's detonator which could have been activated at any given moment.
Passengers managed to overpower the attempted bomber and turned him over to the Padukka Police station with the brief case bomb.

another attempt to kill innocent civilians in the south failed. some of our peelamists here may be disappointed.
