it is upto civilians to decide . no one whether gosl or ltte should compell to come from one area to other. if people are willing to stay in ltte controlled area it should be allowed

People are willing to flee to safety with their kids, but they aren't allowed to. That's what the NGO's say. You don't know about the LTTE exit-pass system? Sole representative of the Tamils work... thought you are well acquainted with their work.

Yes this true. But you have to see the difference. Bhdiist temples are open for all to worship. Still 100+ kovils are closed for low caste tamils. All the kovils still have tradition of seperate thiruvilla for seperate castes.

Nandhi,

I am not sure if you are right about 100+ kovils but if that is the case the LTTE needs to eradicate that caste discrimination sooner than later. I don't think that is happening in the cities and in bigger temples. But my point is, we shouldn't let the Sinhalese to interfere in the affairs of Tamils. They will have their own agenda.

How did you come up with that statistics? Pawan doesn't know about Tamils, and they will get rid of caste politics any time when it comes to Tamil and Tamils. If Jayalalitha ever says that she supports the Sinhala government's policies or she is against the Eelam Tamils, she will be history.

thivya,

while you are on your honeymoon trip, there was lot of name calling going on in tamil nadu which ultimately died down a bit after finding karunanidhi is not even from tamil nadu. jayalalitha is famous for her anti LTTE stand. Ordinary tamils are more concerened about day to day living concerns.

There are reasons why terrorism is an ongoing phenomenon.

One can argue various reasons such as abject poverty, 83 riots, inequality, lunacy, idiot gene, etc. are explanations for the LTTE in Sri Lanka, but it doesn t excuse their absurd savage human behaviour!

Try not to have any links with the backwardly and absurd SAVAGE human behaviour, so as to see whether you re capable or not!

Who knows, genuine liberation may be closer than you think!

If not, our relations with each other as humans will never improve because that wouldn t be considered a movement forward.

The NGO s are saying this too:

'The government, meanwhile, urges civilians to flee the Tiger areas and houses them in so-called welfare camps, which independent sources describe as detention camps. There government-paid informers wearing masks walk through the ranks of the displaced, identifying people as alleged Tiger supporters who are promptly detained.'

Who wants to go to the Sinhala Nazi concentration camps, they would rather stay with LTTE in their homes and suffer than to face the torture in the Sinhala Nazi concentration camps

sinhalays should not interfere in hindu tamil religious affairs. it should only act to allow all tamils to worship all kovils only. it is a fundamental right of every tamil to worship any kovils of his or her choosing according to his or her religious beliefs. isnt that correct?
