May be berts.. LNP folks could have missed CNN,,but what my point was there's no military correspondents in the battle field except from lankan tv stations.. what CNN gets is either from defence ministry or by lankan tv stations or tamilnet correspondents etc..if i believe actual footage of towns and places,,,i will believe they been captured.otherwise not..i guess as a tamil you might know the villages and towns in wanni area more than me ..so thats why i said check the tv news in the net..


there is only two sources . either from sldf or ltte

looking at the report it is obevous that his sources were nobody but the LTTP


he is not blindly accepting. he supports his arguments logically with other corroborative evidences

I don't know much about Tamil areas and I think some sinhalese forum members actually are very informative when they put some Maps in this forum..I am sure..Army is advancing and there will be deaths on both sides..and as you say may be what CNN gets it from local media..

The point is i never said I did not believe anything at all..it is for people to post and others to accept it..it does not mean as a tamil if i don't accept or say anything from what I saw in CNN (not for Tamil media)I am not an eelamist or brain dead ..lolz

As long as it makes you happy,you may dwell on numbers that comes through Tamil Media.Binkunda just gave you the possible sources for battle information.Before you post BS just think for a moment before you become a real luagh...:-)

we know man.

we know there is onlt two sources. sldf and ltte.

we assess based on other corroborative evidences like the comparison of no of death reported by sldf and no of bodies handed over by tigers after the battle.

The answer Upul gave as 'NEITHER' is not a huge surprise at all

25 from the Military spokesman is too low
170 from TN is too high..

That will be the answer he got..and that is exactly how i do the maths too

LNP specialforces said it was 158 which is closer to tamilnet . i have no reason to doubt SF giving wrong figure as he is atrong supporter of mr and sldf. defencewire repored 100 death of sla.

so based on all these we can say arounfd 130 of sla dead
