Colombo steps up bombardment on Vanni
TamilNet, Saturday, 20 December 2008, 05:49 GMT

Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) bombers attacked Saturday a coastal area in Mullaiththeevu where thousands ofl civilians, recently displaced, had established temporary shelters. The bombers dropped eight bombs on fishing huts and boats, lighting up the stretch using para lights, causing panic among the refugees and the fishermen engaged in fishing at 4:55 a.m. The bombers arrived again at 5:35 to bomb the area with 8 eight more bombs, targeting the temporary shelters of refugees. The SLAF bombers attacked Mullaiththeevu and Ki'linochchi five times within four hours in the morning. Meanwhile, the Sri Lanka Army (SLA) launched an artillery barrage from all the frontiers of Vanni from 4:20 a.m. till 5:50 a.m.

good for the LIOC which is not part of the hedging deal.

it is not the fault of the Indian but the fault of the sinhalayas...

watch, jvp will once again call for the boycott of Indian products or the govt along with the sinhala gloyas will blame India for everything that will happen with CPC and the hedging deal in the future.

soon ,there will be a problem for the CPC as to how to get ridof the fuels they will be buying according to the hedging deal even if CPC stick with the minimum order while the LIOC sales at cheaper price than the CPC .

either way, the decision of the LIOC will not help us but will help funding the chinkala war machine because the oil prices at the pumps decides the inflation as well as the prices of the essential commodities.

i guess, this is an other intervention by Delhi directly into the internal matters of the island , otherwise this war criminal CJ sarath de silva will not rule anything against the govt , if he had not had the back up of Delhi and ranil! period!

in this way the madaraja's govt will be proved once again that he cant run the country in the style of a road side tea shop!

ranil's no confident motion against the madaraja failed , so he turned to delhi... the rest we all know!

i pray to shani god to bring sinhalayas the war and destruction from some one other than the ltte...so they too can go for picnics and campings!
