ever heard of economic development? once terrorism is taken off north will be developed.
Taliban regimes can never ensure development, of any kind, be it political or economical. they walk backwards.

What are you in the sense your vocation, an accountant, saleswoman, housewife, etc...?
Oh the straight answer is - I am a Chartered Accountant (Sri Lankan) worked as Management Accountant and now as Policy Accountant. |

just an example of how countries can come up with the worst case scenarios..
To develop East, it must come under complete Tamil Eelam administration.
Then, diaspora mony will pour in like monsoon rain! As soon as the infrastructure is set up, including a super highway linking Jaffna to Batti, via Trinco, Tamil Nadu big investments come in to use skills of intelligent Tamil kids.
TE plans include a daily ferry service to TN from KKS. TN and TE needs to have close economic links, according to VP vision!
TE will become a shining gem in South Asia! |

you cant compare taliban to Sri Lanka.. they got a different view than the Sri Lankan system.. that is why you saw the Americans totally disrupted and destroyed the Taliban regime.. economic back drops of the taliban cant be compared to the Sri Lankan economic system that is just not right. |

.. if praba was to do the same so be it.. but he is not willing to do it.. as you and me know who praba is..
I have not met Praba and therefore I cannot say I know him. I do know many of the Tiger soldiers and I like all of them. I met Karuna and Pillayan in person during my humanitarian work and they both came across ok - certainly not terrorists. Sometimes - often in some instances - we do things without knowing what the outcomes would be. Only one who has done less of that and more of the faith based work - has the authority to criticize the other. In any case the dignity of Tamils and therefore Sri Lankans is at stake here. Hence one needs to be careful of the hasty labels. Outsiders would do that for academic purposes and so long as they do so equally to both sides - they would not be unjust.
