Not so long ago they were part of it. How would they hate themselves? wishful thinking on your part?
because the now CM of the east defected praba and came into democratic means.. he choose democracy over terrorism..
GOSL has the problem of maintaining many more troops in the captured areas. Without the cooperation of Tamils - Sri Lanka will continue to go down economically.
there is no troop shortage.. if there was you dont see new divisions being formed in the SLDF... well they do cooperate with tamils.. this is why you see there is a Tamil in the east as CM instead of a Sinhalese... it is just small groups of LTTE are creating some problems in the east.. |

I guess you dont know there are major development projects that are taking place in the east.. just as I said to Gaja, LTTE is causing some problems in the east that set some backdrops.. but I dont agree with you... a country being developed is not unrealistic.. if proper methods are used then anything is possible.. but it is hard to get things going with terrorism..... so this is why you see the present situation... lets not forget how Japan was resurrected after 1945.. I m not comparing SL to Japan.. just an example of how countries can come up with the worst case scenarios.. |

you might be true.. one party blame the other and vice versa. about how it started... but it was the past.. both Karuna and pillayan understood this.. and they choose it was enough fighting for them.. this is what I meant when I said they choose democracy over terrorism.. if praba was to do the same so be it.. but he is not willing to do it.. as you and me know who praba is.. |
