this is the most hysterical statement I ever saw, who plans for a 100 year war is a mad man for sure.
We had a war going on for 30 years... without any winner as yet! The 100 year war is a strategic plan to continue till Tamils claim their legitimate land!
There is nothing wrong with 100 year war. Of course those who had been talking about 'kissing distances' like to claim a bogus victory by capturing an earth mound, a few tree groves, or some abandoned buildings.
But, without Tamil victory, it is clear now, that Tamils world over, 80 million of them with rapidly growing world influence, will not allow to stop the war.
So, the only option, as proposed to VP by Tamil intellectuals, and as accepted by VP, is the 100 year strategy! |

Spetznazi shld know that it was the Economic Collapse that led to the change in World order in Eastern world & Demise of Soviet Union as a Nation !
So whichever way it happens first is good for Eelam !
:)))) I strongly believe that the Soviet Union collapsed due to American influence... maybe part of the economy contributed but it was mainly due to the USA.... but either ways depending on a economic collapse and waiting out on a war is not going to help either party..for two years people were expecting many disasters to rein down on the SL.. but little or no impact was done... true SL does have economic hardships but there is no way you can compare the Soviet collapse to the Sri Lankan economic problems.. this time around it is global.. not only for Sri Lanka...but if someone is waiting for an economy to collapse so the war will be benefited then they are not leaders but fools:))) |

People who had never been to a battle field have hard time understanding what 'Tiger defense captured' means.
There are some who continue to count the dead and believe that total number of SLA deaths is what matters to keep the Tamil Eelam myth alive . Those are the stupid Tamil DIASPORA, who with hatred and racism invest their toilet cleaning money on LTTE ,depending on how many SLA soldiers LTTE kills.
In WWII the number of deaths of Russians(Soviets) were 20 million, in contrast to Germans 12 million. At the end of the war Soviets had liberated Eastern Europe from Nazi Germany.
Our Soldiers of SLDF are sacrificing their lives to liberate Tamils from LTTE Terrorism and to keep the integrity and the unitary status of the country.
The casualties of SLDF can be high as they respect rules of engagement and do not have any human shields unlike LTTE who keeps the Tamil civilians as human shields and shed crocodile tears when civilians get killed as a result of collateral damages.
It is easy to inflict heavy casualties to the party on the offence (SLDF ) who are marching forward and their purpose is not to hide in Bunkers as they are crossing the FDL to defeat LTTE terrorists.
A good example is how LTTE over ran SLA camps. They were able to over ran camps because those days , the army had been confined to camps without a strong forward defense line .However LTTE casualties were extremely high too before they over ran the camp as waves of child soldiers who were not aware of land mines were sent first to detonate the landmines killing them selves ,which the army set up thinking stupidly , that those land mines would protect the camps . All those happened after Indo Sri Lanka accord. Before the Accord and IPKF, LTTE did not have a forward defense line but had bunkers in the jungles just to protect them selves from Air raids, and General Kobbakadduwa was able to hit them hard just being on the offence. We all know that IPKF left creating a vacuum, enabling LTTE to move in to those areas easily and the country had only about 60,000 troops who were not able to successfully man those areas.
By the constitution of the Country as well as being a sovereign nation GOSL has all the rights to fight against terrorism. When there is a war declared on LTTE terrorists and SLDF is moving towards the terrorists held areas , then if LTTE is not a terrorist organization but freedom fighters they have to allow civilians to move away from the war zone and not keep them as human shield or force them to defend LTTE held areas . By doing the opposite it is clearly a terrorist act of LTTE according to our constitution as well as the UN charter.
When LTTE progressed from a rag tag army to a conventional army, they made a big blunder of having had the control over a designated territory without securing it politically through a process of continuous negotiations. The mistake is Prabhakaran's who had no intentions for a political solution but a hegemonic , racist and monolithic Tamil Eelam for his own security and not for the betterment of Tamil people as he had made enough of enemies among the Singhalese, Tamils, and Indians over the course of the struggle..

I understand how you feel when it comes to Military deaths..
This is a WAR and I am sure there will be deaths..I was told Gosl has prepared to have a death toll of 4000 on their side if they want to Capture Killi..(don't ask me for the link). I am sure this is a very high number
sadly we are going to see a lot of death..
We are all doing well malli in Hong kong..waiting for Christmas holidays |
