Karadaiyalakulam is a remote village in the harsh interiors of Batticoloa. Having lived till now in refugee camps, these 32 families have just come back to what remains of their homes. 9 of them have been widowed, 2 of them since May when their husbands were abducted.
School is more than an hour away, over a broken bridge, but for the children it s beyond luxury. At least 50 of the 60 of them cannot go, because if they don t go and catch fish, the families won t be able to afford even their 2 meals, that too of just of salt and rice.
However this village is not beyond hope. If someone is willing to help they are willing to try.
And help, you can, easily!
Sending all the village children to school requires finding a few committed people willing to put down a sum of Rs. 1750 each.
This will send a child to school for the whole year by providing him with sets of uniform, exercise books, a basic bag, a pair of shoes, stationery.
Contributors could also choose to show their love by giving new / almost new clothing, which they haven t had for years.

that is why their Morale is so high that & your SLA Shoulders are dropping !
Tigers are defending for their birth soil while SLA guys are fighting for a Salary of 15,000 SL Rs !
No wonder we all know who is having High Morale even after so many blockades & restrictions !
lets not talk about morale when we know who is surrendering to whom... and who is loosing land to whom.. anyways FYI soldiers get more than 15000RS.. at at least it is better than what the LTTE carders are getting right now...which is nothing... the tigers have been defending their birth soil since mavilaru.. and until now they have done a very good job:))) and loosing pooneryn was the best... |

i am not blindly supporting piraba/ltte. if suppose karauna is genuinely for tamil people rights and if he got a devolution of power / federal state they I would have respected karuna. but he is not. even he is not doing to the the extend of what pillayan who is asking proper power shariing for Eact PC (finance, police and land)
if sinhalese offerred a federal solution to north and east i have no reason to support piraba or ltte
there will be a solution once LTTE is defeated.. true knowing the past you are unable to accept that.. but there will be a solution.. but not with LTTE is still active to a point where they can cause damages to a proper system,.. |

just becasue tamil people staying in across south does not mean they are enjoying all fudamental righs as equal citizens including freedom of speech. state terror is unleashed if any tamil speak against state.
oh yeah? So is that why TNA mootans who have spoken against the sovereignty of the very country and they have sworn to protect under oath are still members of the parliament and enjoy all the benefits?
What are all the fundamental rights that tamils under gosl area are not allowed to have? |

have you forgotted TNA MP raviraj,Sivanesan ,PARARAJASINGAM, Tharakki were killed by GOSL/MI/DPU?

Those who associate with terrorists and cause greater harm to sri lanka should know enough to stay away from them. If you support lpte and work against the nation you can't expect to walk scott free
Average tamil civilian have the same rights as any other sri lankan...
