because you know the results would not be favourable to sinhalese.
atleast understand that mjority of tamil people support ltte and tamieelam/ federal state with internal self determination in north and east.

how can you have an 'impartial' referendum when LPTE is in control of those areas? If they can chop the hand off of the only woman who voted for elections, if they can force recruit children and send suicide bombers etc you think they are not gonna meddle with a referendum?
And tell me why would anybody want to have a referendum only for tamils when the issue involves all sri lankans?
Hell in that case, why 2/3 coastal belt and 1/3 land mass only? Go for the whole thing as ask only tamils whether that's ok with them... |

Largely for academic purposes. These countries are highly critical of the GOSL as well
might be but we are not called terrorists..that makes a whol lot of difference..
And therefore they get away with the weaknesses you find on the side of the LTTE
Velu created that weakens.. which he could have turned it around long ago.. but he did a lot of mistakes that took him to the level of being called a terrorist leader...
If you believe that why have you not legally stated that? - because those whom you considered terrorists before are now in goverment?
well I dont what to go into that extent.. but again Karuna choose the legal and democratic system.. just like what JVP did.. do you see people calling them terrorists?? true they did things in the past.. but they stopped.. even Germany was once a terror regime.. but look at them now.. |

majority of sinhalese is using karuna to achieve sinhala hegomony on tamil people. supporting karuna is not in good faith but with ulterior motive of defeating tamil strength and subjugating tamil and treateing tamil as second class citizen. Karuna is worth for sinhalese till piraba is srtong . |

Officially yes. Not in substance. Ultimately what matters is what you know about yourself. After all I was listed as a criminal here. But I knew I was not one and would never be - not even when I am in the midst of real criminals.
Now that is being confirmed from highest levels in government. Until then my Spiritual Guru gave me the support and the grades I could identify with. I am therefore determined not to judge until I have known the whole Truth.
Today, after the Keke incident, I was short with a Sinhalese who asked for my daughter's email address. I asked him why he needed that and stated that it was inappropriate. He apologized. There was an element of misunderstanding due to cultural differences. Likewise in your assessment of Tamils |
