wat happen to Jaffna / East ?
Anything developed all these yrs ?
If this a..s hole understands that development does not come without freedom of movement, speech , trade as well as security, he will not post his own Tamil stupidity in public.
The cement Factory in KKS(Kankasanthurai) of Jaffna Peninsula had given jobs for 3000 Tamils which had been closed for 2 decades now due to the war.
Killinochchi higher education Institute , which accommodates 5000 students is closed for decades due to the war.
Yaldevi the train which ran from Colombo to Jaffna which created employment to Tamils in the North has not been functioning for 2 decades loosing employment opportunities.
Despite all these difficulties there are still businesses running in the North, government schools , universities , Hospitals and etc . The capacity for the North to thrive after the war is immense.
In the East if LTTE underground movement is not actively involved in jeopardizing the lives of people with Terrorism then it would take it 's own impetus.
Tamils can ruin their own lives keeping LTTE terrorism alive after this war ends defeating LTTE militarily. It will take couple of more years to hunt down and kill the carders gone underground and we will do it as we have done with JVP and also after chasing LTTE from Jaffna. It is harsh but that's the way to go. Some innocent lives will also be spent. It is up to the Tamils to cooperate to avoid such incidents.

you cant compare taliban to Sri Lanka.. they got a different view than the Sri Lankan system..
Taliban considered every non moslem a kafir an intruder,similiar to your gebral Foneska views , for them its a islamic country, the minorities can live but cant ask to be treated equal !
The iconic budha statue was destroyed by these morons, similiar to something that happened to jaffna library !
that is why you saw the Americans totally disrupted and destroyed the Taliban regime.. economic back drops of the taliban cant be compared to the Sri Lankan economic system that is just not right.
The same americans trained and helped taliban at one point of time, today afganisthan is in stalemate.
The present day american regime is the worst leadership it has had in decades. this leadership has earned the wrath of all sane minded countries & people, including tamil eelam. But it has helped the terroists, and rogue states to go berserk .
Just imagine Iraqi terroists, North koreans, Sri lankans, pakistanis, Iran ....

Only one who has done less of that and more of the faith based work - has the authority to criticize the other. In any case the dignity of Tamils and therefore Sri Lankans is at stake here. Hence one needs to be careful of the hasty labels. Outsiders would do that for academic purposes and so long as they do so equally to both sides - they would not be unjust.
yes but after 30 years or so Praba should know the outcome by now.. my point is if Karuna knew it and stopped fighting why cant praba do so the same?? after all both were supreme commanders of one of the most ruthless terror organizations.. |
