Yes, I know about the polling results. But, I also know that Tamil Nadu is not one of the states in United States. Yes, the survival of coalition government in the Centre depends on the support of regional parties, including the ones in Tamil Nadu. But, unlike in the US, the political status-quo in India is more like a symbiotic relationship. The Centre depends on CM Karunanidhi as much as he depends on the Centre for his political relevancy and to expand his family's fortunes. Look at Vaiko. He aligned himself with Jeyalalitha, abandoning whatever principles he had for the sake of political calculations. I am not shocked. Are you? Then, there is Nedumaran. Bless his heart for he means well.
Anyway, back to the polling results. How has it translated into any real changes for the Tamils in Vanni or anywhere else in the northeast of Sri Lanka? Have the SLDF s military operations stopped? Nope. Has the Sri Lankan government come with a political solution to end the war? Nope. Have the air raids stopped? Nope. May be a greater quantity of diesel and other materials being smuggled from Tamil Nadu to LTTE held areas. Other than that, I can't really come up with anything to show for this 'support' from Tamil Nadu. Do you see why Sarath Fonseka referred to the Tamil Nadu politicians as 'bunch of jokers'? He understands them better than the people of Tamil Nadu do.

Mr.Blake,You are seems to be a innocent person,in front of the Sinhalese politicians,who are fooling the whole World for the last five decades..
First of all,you have to study the Sri Lankan history,at-least from 1948,and gain a good knowledge, before talking anything about the Tamils in Sri Lanka..
The same mistake has been done by Junior Bush,by poking his nose into some unknown matters,by listening his advisers,such as:-
* Invasion of Iraq
* Sending troops to Afgstain..were some blunder in his political career,in turn he got a shoe punishment,that no other American President was received in the history of America..
It is better to killed by a Gun,than getting hammered by a Arabian shoe.
At-least he should to understand his mistakes before he leave the office..
In case of Sri Lanka,there is nothing call system of rule..
From the day, It got Independence,what this politicians have done to the Country and for the Tamil people?
* S.W.R.D.Bandranayake-By making the Sinhala only,started injecting the racism to the Buddha followers..
* Srimavo- Continue the same policy as like her husband and grow the hatred between Majority and the Minority..
* J.R- The King of the Jungle,who convert his religion from Christianity to Buddhism and practice the Buddhism in the opposite direction..
* Premadasa..Double game king,who do as much as destruction for the minority,but always hide under the Hemas's Petty-coat..
* Chandrika-The Bandit Queen,only dance for the tune of the Begging Monks..
* RAJAPAKSA Family rule is equal to all the above rulers in a short time,with Genocide,Human Right violation,Racism with the help of Military and the Buddhist killers as like the Rwandan Military killers,who carried out mass killings and now they were punished for crimes against humanity..
So,Mr.Blake, if you are trying to address the Tamils as Tigers in future,you are making the same mistake as your master Bush..
Terrorist is not a good word for Tamils,its only suitable for the people who are trying to eliminate Tamils from this planet..
Please try to find a place for the President of Sri Lanka for the crime he do against the Tamils,it may be forgiven by God for your country and the citizens..
