Sri Lanka Troops secure LTTE defence northwest of Kilinochchi

Troops of the Army 57 Division and the Task Force 1 secured the LTTE built earth bund cum ditch in the West Paranthan and Northwest of Kilinochchi completely by this afternoon (Dec 17), defence sources said.
According to the sources fierce battle commenced last morning (Dec 16) between troops and the terrorists lasted until this morning as troops finally thwarted the LTTE`s counter offensive. During the subsequent search operation launched in the area troops found 15 bodies of LTTE cadres along with large quantity of arms and ammo, the sources added.
The counter terrorist operations are continuing.

Now they are screaming for peace talks.
The peace will be given to LTTE pigs under ground while other innocent people getting the peace on the ground.
The modern EELAM will be establised under ground near future.

| Good job guys... people should understand that even though they are in a rush to see Killinochi being captured, us Sri Lankans are not in a rush... good to see the cautious forward moves by the SLDF... rather than rushing into it and making things a big disaster... |
