The Buddhist monks had converted the inferior Sinhala race to Buddhism but still they couldn't stop you from running to Hindu gods for salvation. All of your leaders are running to temples after temples in Tamil Nadu. They are even making missed calls to the gods of Tamils to destroy the Tamil people. Funny part is, we met a few Sinhala Buddhist monks in Chennai, they said, they are also going to pray to the God of Tamils - the Tirupathi Thirumal.
I guess the Sinhalese use the Buddhism for politics of hatred and to get power, but they rely on Hinduism for their salvation. :)))

What Venkadam wrote is news to me. I thought after the conversion the caste issue is no longer there.
SO, I think, JAffna need some community based power devolution to promote each community. |

Formerly, French, now British - Tamil talks for SL - Tamils.
French is spoken in many countries, not only in France! It is even spoken in Quebec (but their accent is damn hilarious and horrible) !

I write here actually seeking a solution to JAffna problems.
I don't agree with any political solutions focused along ethnic lines. Yet, I accept that every Tamil in JAffna should be happy.
that is why I am questioning tamils who are willing to talk openly.
I support the govt if GOSL tries to help every tamil Community in JAffna equally. Otherwise, Tamils won't get anything that makes tamils superior over sinhalas or tamils behave like TAMILNADU TAMILS. I mean they enjoy everything from Sri Lanka and cheer Tamilnadu, culture civilization and everything. |
