Who likes Aussie criketers.. some aussies also don't like. But for the fantasy cricket game we have to choose at least 5 palyers from AUS.

In your opinion do you think that the Tamils and the Tamil diaspora expect a separate state or would they settle for power sharing solution if the SL govt put forward a framework?

The vast majority of Tamils in Sri Lanka and abroad will settle for a power sharing solution. There will always be few holdouts just as we would see from the Sinhalese side. When I first drafted the proposals, I was only 24 years old. That was in 1995. A lot of Tamils that I knew were very skeptical. In addition, many didn't believe that I wrote them because of my age. So, after the war started again in 1995, I destroyed the original copy of the proposals (complete with the revised, realistic boundary for the Northeast Province (I referred to as a Region). The people in Sri Lanka were simply not ready to bury the hatchet and go on a new path. I also stopped writing, mostly due to family obligations, study, work, etc. Then in 2006, one of my senior uncles asked me to write a memoriam after my grandmother passed away in London. All the grandchildren were requested to write one. She was 87 years old, our family matriarch and the last of the grandparents. Strangely enough, I was fired up to write again. I couldn't sit passively and watch the world I knew destroyed piece by piece, one life at a time. I always stayed connected to my roots even though I left Sri Lanka at a young age. I never forgot the people I left behind.

Most of us hate the aussie players when they are on the field cos they play the game with a lot of arrogance and intensity and they play it hard..for the Game it is a good thing..

U can see those who were real arrogant on the field eg:- Steve Waugh is doing a lot of things in Calcutta, India..U can hear them taking up the commentaries and they don't look that bad anymore

I think the Game needs them..Playing Australia is a challenge.
