Tamil-speaking people have historic grievances - Dallas Alahapperuma

Minister of Transport Dallas Alahapperuma says the grievances of Tamil-speaking people since olden times need an immediate political solution.

He was speaking at a meeting in Matara town on December 13th.

The minister added that no one could reject the claim that there are injustices common to the Tamil speaking people.

(I SAW THIS PART OF SPEECH IN NEWS. THIS IS STRANGE AND SIGNIFICANT THAT THIS IS THE FIRST TIME A MINISTER OF RAJAPAKSE GOVT OPENLY ACCEPTED THE GENUINE GRIEVANCES OF TAMILS. NOT EVEN PISSU VITHARANA HAS DONE THAT SO OPENLY.)

	Pissu Vitharana? Trust him to come up with a solution? I bet Karu leaving is a new development in the SLFP! Few are realising that the Rajapakse lies and policies are not going to work LTTE is still there war cannot be won and if lost the Sinhalayos will never ever recover!

I think people don't give a hoot about what politicians really say and what they mean. Everybody is ready to celebrate the conquering of Mullaitivu and Killinochchi.

This must be what clinically recognized as 'premature ejaculation'.

Having seen no sign of hope for years, when someone like Dallas made a comment providing some vital hope for Shakti's mission (which in fact is a 'vision'), he has become all excited. Out of desperation, poor fellow has failed to do some basic ana-lysis which would otherwise have revealed that it was said in a meeting held in Matara by someone who is too risky to be considered genuine.
