The Liberation Tigers of Tamileelam (LTTE) officials told TamilNet correspondent in Vanni Thursday that the two-pronged SLA offensive on Ki`inochchi was pushed back Wednesday after heavy fighting in Puthumu`rippu in the west of Ki`linochchi and A`riviyal Nakar in the south. The final death toll of the SLA in both the fronts, according to the LTTE claim, was 120 killed in action and more than 280 wounded. Photographs given by the LTTE officials also indicate that there were some young recruits of the SLA among the dead. Meanwhile, the SLA, which admitted heavy fighting, has put the casualties at 20 SLA and 27 LTTE combatants as killed in the latest fighting.

Heavy fighting at Puthumu`rippu ended Wedensday afternoon as SLA suffered high casualties. There was disarray among the SLA troops as an LTTE counter-push was launched by the Tigers.

On the other front, the SLA was pushed back from from A`riviyal Nakar to Malaiyaa`lapuram Wednesday night, according to the Tigers.

More than 25 dead bodies of the SLA were still lying in the no-go zone between the LTTE and SLA forces, the Tigers said.

He he...
Tamilnut has become active again.
ratio 27/20=1.35
so ltte casualties =1.35*120 =162 (most are women & children under 18)
who were forced to fight with 1 meal a day ! & who had been brainwashed by ltte &&&&&&

Poor fellows. Hope they will become 'LIBERATED' soon and live a normal life as brothers & sisters with other Sri lankans. THEN THEY WILL know the truth & HATE LTTE.
No ltte or tamilnut punnakku will be able to mislead them when they see the world is different from what they were told !

Following the controversial political conduct of the Tamil National Alliance Parliamentarian MK Sivajilingam in India, the Indian central government has issued orders that the Sri Lankan must 'Quit India' voluntarily within 72 hours or face deportation, Indian news sources said.
According to reports from India, what has irked Indian officialdom is Sivajilingam's open advocacy of a separate state -Tamil Eelam - being set up with Indian support in Sri Lanka.

OOPS ! But in SL he can still come to the parliament even.
Since Sivajilingam is an elected Mp the Indian authorities have given him 'Time' to depart voluntarily instead of forcibly deporting him, sources said.
Some years ago a Sri Lankan Tamil political activist MK Eelavendhan was deported to Sri Lanka for indulging in political activity supporting the LTTE.

Oh, they are still alive...these Tamil nut lie machine operators!
Photos released by the Tamil nut show ltte tiger child soldiers killed 'in action', as they like to tell.
In a 'war' casualties exist:
One side is a terrorist group trying to show a 'dreameelam' to some poor Tamils.
The other side is the patriotic SLDF fighting terrorists and capturing our own soil from the terrorists.
ARE THERE STILL PEOPLE WHO ACCEPT TIGER LIES LIKE DURING HITLER REIGN???

Still education did not help to think unbiased. See, Hitler was supported by majority Germans and finally resulted in complete destruction of Germany. It lost some of the teritory to Poland and other heighbouring country. I can see similarity between Hitler Germany and Mahinda's Srilanka ( German and Lankans Singhalese). Only after total destruction of srilanka only give some thinking in Srilankas singhalese ( when is a great question mark?. by whom?.)

Oh! There are plenty of those people!

Similarly, still there are people who accept lies dished out by the Govt media too!

In a war situation truth is the first casualty UNLESSS there is unbiased and independent media reporting.
