Pawan
I heard they can't even get the right to get to the tubes and they have to park so far away..

The question is why are we continuing to waste money..
Is this necessary at this time of Financial crisis..

we should think better

ananda sangaree iya opens his mouth

Mr. Anandasangaree says the people who lived under LTTE subjugation for many years are now free and very happy, and if Tamil Nadu has any sympathy for over three lakh people trapped in the area still under the control of the Tigers, it should pressure the outfit to release them without using them as a shield.

With that, the war comes to an end and the lives of several thousand young boys and girls of the LTTE who are on the war front can also be saved. The LTTE can then sit and talk with the government along with other representatives of Tamils and Muslims. There are about 20 TNA (Tamil National Alliance) parliamentarians now in Tamil Nadu. Let any one of them challenge any part of this statement.

Because of the LTTE s atrocities many Tamil people had fled the country. Many Tamils from their traditional places of residence had fled their homes and are now living in peace and harmony with the Sinhalese and the Muslims. Over 50 per cent of the Tamils in Sri Lanka now live with them

after that you will get POLITICAL SOLUTION.:)))))

What will happen to DR Mervin..lolz

The Cabinet decided today to ban the awarding of honorary doctorates and titles such as Desha Bandu by dubious organizations, as recommended by a Cabinet Sub Committee headed by Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickremanayake. According to its recommendations, only recognised universities will be allowed to award honorary degrees in future. Also honorary titles, such as Desha Bandu, could only be given by the President in future.

'Fonseka has added insult to injury. Not satisfied with killing innocent women and children in Eelam, he now has the temerity to challenge the might of India. Worse, our state and central governments seem to be kow-towing Colombo's despicable line,' Radhakrishnan said

A thief, but not a killer

By Kirithiwansa Tilakaratne

A thief who was about to go about his normal business was apprehended by police with a coin wrapped in a piece of cloth - the common token of a vow made to a deity - tied to his weapon to ensure that there would be no occasion for him to shoot anyone.

Karanadeniya police said that the suspect had in his possession a T-56 rifle with a coin tied around it. The suspect was a resident of the Thalwatta area. Police inquiries revealed that the suspect had taken a vow that although he carried a gun he would not use it.

However further inquiries revealed that the suspect was involved in several crimes in the Southern province just before his arrest.
