Daisy Machan! :)

The Naadu Mootans carefully avoided making the 3 predictions I have asked for - In fact I expected Flash Mootan (who is so fond of predicting) to answer.

Among those comments you posted wasnt there a single one pro-mootan nadu jokers ?
:)))))

Government rejects WFP claims

The government today categorically rejected the World Food Programme s (WFP) aspersions on the situation faced by Internally Displaced Persons in the Wanni saying that the claims were exaggerated, unfounded and malicious with a motive to tarnish the image of Sri Lanka.

Comments

How long the govt. hide facts, even it is bitter for them?

i saw some pictures in a website. Is that true?

As if we already have a fantastic image about us in abroad. Aside, 'exaggerated' and 'unfounded' are mutually exclusive. Government officials should be sent to English tuition before writing a denial statement.

As usual, can we now ask him (WFP official) to leave the Island within 24-hours.

We don't have to go that far. Even in the Government controlled areas there are people living in conditions worse than Somalia. They may have small dwellings but their hearts are burning due to loss of family members and injured due to this war and no one to help them. The beggar community has increased. Malnutrition is quite common which was never heard of in the past. Leaders are living in luxury and the war is for their political survival and arms deals.
