Wanni is not the size of Pettakotuwa....read my above post just to know the lenght of wanni...you need over 100000 army just to gurd the areas so far catured....then who will fight to capture the rest of wanni..remember 12000 killed, 12000 injured, 5000 missing in action and 30000 have run away (as per mangala) and 30000 confined to Jaffna penisula so technically army is left with just about with 40% of its resources in large area of wanni

It will be good if the Indians even now pocket their not inconsiderable pride, arrogance and condescending attitude and look outwards to world class organizations like the SAS to help them. Sri Lanka should have thought to offer its commandos to help, even if the response of the Indians would have been predictable. Sri Lanka s Commandos experience and skills in urban guerilla warfare have been honed by continuous and hard fighting for over 25 years, a feat which probably has no equal in the world, even if not acknowledged by some. They were initially trained by the SAS. However, the Indian intention to prevent casualties amongst the hostages and their rescue of some must be commended although the time taken (three days) to subdue, at the most 10 terrorists, while nearly 200 died will be an unenviable record the Indians will not be happy to remember.

VP's boys are fighting for a cause...maveerar when they are alive and after death honered all over the world not only by lankan tamils but also by World tamil community....Sinhala boys killed in wanni do not even go to their respective homes... after death burnt on mass scale by GOSL in unknown places....many loved once of army guys are asking for their boys bodies from mangala and tissa attanayake...now you sinhala guys are not only in a political mess...but in economical, political and social mess in grand scale
