Three TNA parliamentarians issued notice
Colombo Chief Magistrate today noticed three TNA parliamentarians to appear in court to inquire on an alleged complaint of making defamatory statements against the Constitution of Sri Lanka and threatening the sovereignty of the country at the Pongu Thamil festival held in Germany, 2006. |

MP Vinayagamurthi Muralitharan said According to his personal experience Sri Lanka has a very great and powerful Armed Force.
He made these observations in Parliament yesterday (04).
But earlier without a veteran political leadership in the country, Security Forces were not able to defeat the ruthless terrorism in the country.
He added today Sri Lankan Forces are guided by the proper political leadership of President Mahinda Rajapaksa and Security Forces are able to defeat terrorism in unprecedented momentum now.

Russia will now build four nuclear energy reactors at Kudankulam in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
Russia is already building two other reactors at the Kudankulam site.
Russia becomes the third country to sign a nuclear deal with India after the signing of the India-US agreement which allows India access to civilian nuclear technology and fuel.
