At least the GoSL is trying to stop the child soldiers recruitment in the TMVP... whether you believe it will happen or not, at least it's a step in the right direction! The LTTE terrorists still continue to recruit and use child soldiers... Maybe we should now channel our efforts to try and get the LTTE to stop it's use of child soldiers...

Let me get this right

They signed a plan earlier this week to ensure that the recruitment and use of children by the Tamil Makkal Viduthalai Puligal (TMVP) comes to an end.

what does this mean..did Karuna continue to recruit children after leaving LTTE and when he was fighting with the SL army..

Looks like it is an admission..

This could be different if it is tied up with aid. Lets hope for the sake of the country, that it is implemented at least for new recruits.

And, you seem to understand! Oh come on man...!

Just read the article. Did you see this:
The agreement was signed by Col Karuna on behalf of the TVMP

Karuna had been kicked out long ago from TVMP. So he is just signing a blind document! He knows it!

Who is he trying to fool? Perhaps people like you, XFactor, Jayzon, Aussie... a long list of LNP Veerayaas!

We were going to St Micheals from 1978 to 1985..My bro and his family attend it even now.

We were living down Park road.
