Woman arrested with heroin worth Rs. 20mn
The Kalpitiya Police arrested a 51-year-old woman and seized over two kilos of heroin during a raid on a house at Navatkudah in Puttalam.
The street value of the haul of heroin was Rs 20 million, police said.
The OIC of Kalpitiya, IP Lakshman Ranwalaarachi, said the woman, who was from the North had settled down in Puttalam a few years ago following the war.
Investigations revealed that the heroin belonged to a Muslim national who was abducted sometime ago by a militant group. The arrested woman was his mother-in-law and she had taken the heroin to another house and kept it there for safety.
So you were arrested with POT red handed!

The dead have been identified as C.Wasantha Kumari (30), Ramesh Madusanka (9), Nishanka Sevvini (6) and Pathum Dilhan (10) The mother of the neighbourhood child killed in the incident had kept the child in the house where the killings took place and had gone to Anuradhapura.
The chief occupant of the house and husband of the woman killed is a soldier attached to the Sri Lanka Army and had told the Police that he was not in the house at the time of the incident.
The Kebitigollewa Magistrate was due to conduct a Magisterial inquiry into the incident yesterday and Padaviya Police were conducting investigations. No suspect had been arrested.

Who will cares about thee bloody politicians. In the Sri lankan history no political future for all poeple who protected Terrorists. Protectors also finally destroyed by Terrorism.
That truth will same for Gajendran also. They are doing politics in Colombo without knowing any pain of the wanni poeple. While having the all facilities by Sri Lankan Gournment they try to help LTTE.
