Yarlan,

Do you think someone like Barack Obama has a chance becoming a Prime Minister one day in Australia?

I don't think. I know that I have been the Prime Minister of Australia whenever I shared feelings based wisdom through that position. With time someone like me will apparently fill that position. It is more likely to be a migrant than an Aborigine in the short term -for the simple reason that migrants are harder working than Aborigines. It is likely to be someone of Asian origin - including Chinese.

I don't think so. Do you know why?

You have not informed us why

Also, what about providing an opportunity to your fellow Tamils in Sri Lanka to enjoy the freedoms you take for granted in Australia?

And pray what IS that freedom that I take for granted here in Australia - that I get sent to prison for peaceful assemly to wait for a white Administrator to follow Due Process? That I am threatened with enforced medication for alleged mental illness whilst in custody - including by a Sinhalese doctor in training? That my home would be broken into and assets removed by force to settle legal bills incurred by that administrator who failed to follow Due Process? You call all this freedom? I DON'T. None of this happened to me in Sri Lanka - where Sinhalese officers of my parallel status 'happen' to come on the scence fairly quickly and take my word without question. It's only the more junior ones that have problems. The worst experience of lack of freedom in Sri Lanka happened in Jaffna - right near the Kachcheri - when a Tamil thief strangled my throat for my chain and ear ring.

What a hypocrite you are! Did any of your children had to fight and die for the cause?

All those I feel for are my mind-relatives. My biological children have the DUTY to follow in the footsteps of the highest leader in our family and that is NOT someone who has been dysenfranchised enough to know only armed conflict. Each one as per their Dharma. But for the record - I did lose two loved ones to the war - one who joined an armed group and was killed by the Tigers and the other in the cross fire between the army and the Tigers.

Recently one of my mind-children was grieving that her brother was shot dead and his body thrown in the woods of Batticaloa - and they still do not know who or why? I just grieve with her. Likewise with the orphans in the Homes. Some outside the Home are funded by us - my family.

What do you want to say to those parents whose children did?

I have already asked many of them - why did they not place education before land and money?

With parents who did not have hope - I just shared my positive ways with them. During Tsunami reconstruction many mothers shared their grief with me - not of Tsunami but of losing their sons to either the Armed forces who took them away or to the LTTE. I shared and I have cured. Now they are participating in our activities.

Mark,

It is not a laughing matter, there are many many silent followers such as Nale....

And admirers - such as Pera, Nada, Fairplay. The three mentioned are also admirers. I think Puli was my only follower.

A good news for the peelamists and the TN GOONs

Meanwhile the Minister also said that Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and President Mahinda Rajapaksa had come to a mutual agreement that the Government would declare a ceasefire only if the Tigers disarmed themselves.

He added that President Rajapaksa had also clearly informed the Indian Prime Minister that the Government would not give up its military operations in the north, especially at a time when the Wanni about to be liberated.

Kural,

But I'm hoping that things will go better for all of us..

I am not hoping. I am doing what I can - some through my work and the rest through my prayers - especially for those who are working in war zones. I have some of my own there.
