If you genuinely feel that you were the one who ought to have gotten a position on merit basis - and you don't it is your duty as a democratic citizens to 'show' your side of the picture
I'll agree to that. otherwise you will be just one among the crowd trampled, done and dusted. no one would remember you after sometime. If you at least try, then when it happens to someone again, he or she will know what to do and what not to do.
