NEW DELHI (AFP) India on Wednesday warned that all options were open in dealing with Pakistan after last week's attacks on Mumbai, as the United States pressured Islamabad to show urgent cooperation with the probe.

In 1948, when the Brit left, the country was run by diverse power groups based on ethnic, religious, language, cultural divisions
But the real power remained with a selected selfish few who were groomed to dream of the revival of the empire where the sun never sets. These people looked down on their own people and tried to be whiter than the whites.
The prosperity of old Ceylon was simply due to market forces manipulated by the colonial commerce. Even that prosperity benefited only a few families while the vast majority was dying a slow death.
The non-nation-Ceylon exploded as LTTE & JVP time bombs, parting gifts from of bright Brits!
Now the time has come for all Sri Lankans, rich/poor, Singhala/Tamil, X-religion/Y-religion, X-language/Y-language, X-culture/Y-culture .. to get together and build the New Sri Lankan Nation.
It is obvious that there is no reason for the majorities to be ashamed of being majorities when merging into larger Sri Lankan mould.
In this venture, all knowledge held by all citizens become national patrimony Tamil language as much as Singhala becomes a patrimony belonging to all. Religion should also enhance the national mutual help no sectarianism should be allowed. Tamil become our Tamil, Muslim/Hindud/Christian becomes our Muslim/Hindud/Christian as much as Singhala and Buddhism is ours belonging to all Sri Lankans.
Hope to see 20 million more ideas blossom.

there is a lot more to come and india is ill prepared to deal with it as we saw in mumbai....
Mumbai is an aberration in that this attack was planned for months & months !
now that 'captured Bird' is singing with FBI, CIA et all abt the complicity, Delhi will soon improve its intelligence which it lacked viz pakistan ! |

no world leader condemns here while everyone jumps the gun on Mumbai !

Thxgiving was uneventful and cold . it is still cold here man .
I heard mumbai was given a warning by the CIA about this very thing happening a month before and the mootans actually reduced security |
